The Institute of Urban Ecology is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and coordinating people to come together around nature and food. We are working to create a community of dedicated and motivated individuals to make positive significant changes to our {sub}urban environments by putting ecology into action through gardening, urban farming, sustainable design, permaculture and community building.

Every two weeks we meet at various locations to learn the secrets of Santa Barbara's sensational cuisine from the people who produce, market and prepare our food.
